laptop shuts down while playing games like fifa 14. laptop temperature is around 70

laptop shuts down while starting fifa 14. recorded laptop temperature using speedfan.it was around 70 degree C.

I have cleaned fan twice but the problem is still persistent.

I have Dell Inspiron N5110C
i5, 2.3 GHZ
Nvidia GEFORCE GT 525m
4gb Ram
also I have updated all drivers.

your problem may be your cooling. your CPU paste may be very little, my suggestion would be to check your CPU and see if there is a lot of CPU paste, if not get some silver compound not the silicone stuff. and that's probably your issue, your CPU max temp is probably set to 70 so your CPU doesn't overheat and fry itself. that's my suggestion to you.

Max temperature of what I presume is an i5-2410M is 100C, so overheat shouldn't be an issue and plus 70C for a laptop CPU;while gaming, is pretty good.

Have you checked GPU temps as well?

really? usually, my temps are around 53C and mine isn't even a gaming laptop, but yes check the GPU and if that's not the case I would check the max temp. download MSI Afterburner if you don't have it already. it tells you basically everything and even lets you record games!
