Hello

About a 18 months ago, I got a Gigabyte U2442N Laptop with the following specs:

Intel Core i5 3210M, 2,5GHz,
8GB RAM, 128GB SSD +
750GB HDD, 2GB
NVIDIA GT640M

Initally I was very happy. The Laptop handled daily tasks and Far Cry 3 without issue, and was portable to boot.

Overtime, the laptop has slowed down considerably. There is FPS lag at lowest settings, even in relatively undemanding games as League of Legends , and even chrome is acting sluggish.

I have already reinstalled a clean version of windows, but performance is still very wanting.

Does anyone have any ideas how to diagnose what is wrong with the laptop, or how to fix this?

Thanks

Have you tried dusting the computer out using an air can? I friend of mine had a laptop that started acting sluggish that I noticed had really high temps and after blowing out the dust started acting normally.
