Laptop stuck at BIOS

I've had this laptop for about 8 months now-- a ThinkPenguin Snares-- and it's been working perfectly. Up until this point, that is. Now it suddenly won't leave the BIOS screen, with "F2 Setup," "F7 Boot Menu," and the mocking Intel logo.
I've tried opening the Setup menu and the Boot Menu but neither work...
I've opened it up and am pretty sure that none of the wires are loose (My desktop has had a similar problem in the past, and a couple of wires were just loose...)

Anyone happen to know of any possible causes of this problem?

Hello jadedlp

Hard resetting the laptop might resolve the issue. You can do the following to hard reset your laptop:

> Power off the laptop.

> Unplug all the cables and/or USB devices.

> Take out the battery.

> Press down and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.

> Release the Power button.

> Re-attach the battery and try booting the laptop

The issue should be resolved.

I hope I was of some help.
