Solved! Laptop Suddenly Running Slow

Hey! So it's been over a week now that my laptop suddenly started lagging. I have no idea how it suddenly started but it usually lags in the morning in Google meet and my browsers take up a lot of RAM. I reinstalled the browsers and it fixed the problem for 1 day. Then the next day my laptop has yet again started showing the same signs and my cpu speed is only 0.39 GHz. Please help me fix this and thanks for your time! (it wasn't lagging in any way about a week ago)

Run an anti-virus scan, Malwarebytes is a good program to use for that. If that does not find anything to fix, use a system restore point to a time before the issue started and see if that helps.
