Hey. my laptop is overheating and it’s influencing my laptop while gaming as causing fps drops and stuff. I will go today and buy cooling pad for the laptop it might help? thanks

It might help. Better to take it to a professional laptop repair shop and have it cleaned of dust, professionally.
