Laptop time problem! Replacing CMOS battery?

I've got new laptop and now have time problem, it is stops go forward after some time

please give any opinions,

If a NEW laptop, the battery should be fine.

If you mean you just got it but it's actually an older laptop, it may be the battery, although when it's plugged in that should not matter.

Try updating the BIOS on the system.

Is the time the only thing that stops updating? Laptop runs OK even if the clock stops going up?

yesterday i just make BIOS defaults and my time looks like restored since yesterday, hope it will be alright for today and years forward
