Laptop to Toshiba TV vis HDMI

Hi, when I connect my Acer Laptop to my Toshiba TV using HDMI there is no problem. However when I play a Blue Ray disk on the Laptop it plays for a short while then I get an erroe message saying the drive is not suitable and to update. I have updated all drivers on Laptop. Any idea's?

Perhaps the drive or TV doesn't support HDCP?
Oh, and you'll also want to post the make and model of your TV and laptop.
