Laptop to TV via HDMI over Ethernet donesnt work

Hello all,

I'm facing a strange issue with my new TV Samsung 7 model. Here is how the connection looks like:

laptop HDMI port > HDMI extender TX > two RJ45 CAT6 cables > HDMI extender RX > TV HDMI

The problem is that the TV is showing me NO SIGNAL. I used the same cables/extender with my old Toshiba TV and all was working OK. Also now, when I connect the Samsung TV, the laptop recognize a new screen, but there is still NO SIGNAL on the TV. When I connect laptop directly to TV with HDMI cable, it works.

any ideas what could be wrong?

Is the extender 4K capable? am not even saying you are passing 4K, but 4K TVs may throw an additional monkey wrench to what previously worked.

hm.. Im not sure whether those extenders are 4K, probably not.... There is no brand on them so cuold not find any specifications....
