Laptop turns on and off and on and off

My laptop's keyboard recently broke so I ordered a new one, before doing so I unplugged the built in keyboard from the motherboard and reconnected it as I thought it might have been a connection error when I powered it up keyboard still didn't work but everything else did so I went and purchase a new keyboard. It was functioning fine before I connect the new keyboard but after connecting it and turning the power on it stays on for a few seconds and then shuts down and then turns on and shuts down over and over. Its been a few hours now, and still no display 🙁
Hopefully someone knows something about how to fix this thanks

Does the problem go away when you plug in the old damaged keyboard?
