Do you mean 3D rendering?
Assuming 2D, I can't get on a good Canadian laptop site...but here's some things to look for:
A decent CPU like an i5-6300HQ (or higher, if you'll use the extra threads for rendering).
At least 16GB of RAM,
A solid state drive, at least 250GB, for windows, your applications and games, and the projects you're working on. It will make loading large projects, or game levels a snap.
At least a dedicated 960M or higher, if you want to push reasonable framerates at 1080p. If you're only playing older games, and you want to save some money and battery life, you can probably skip a dedicated graphics card.
An IPS panel display, for more accurate colors and much better viewing angles.
