Is there a laptop under 500$ that would play PES 16/17 on high settings on 1080?

PES 16/17? What's that?

Anyway, the only kind of laptops you'll find for $500 or less are those with integrated graphics. You most likely won't be playing any games at high settings on 1080p unless you're running an SNES emulator or something.

The answer to your question is most likely "No. There isn't a laptop for less than $500 that will run anything at high settings in 1080p".

Agreed, anything under $500 USD will not be able to play any mainstream games at 1080p on high, more like low.
Most of these laptops dont even come with 1080p screens because of this, typical resolution is 1366x768.

If your needs are laptop first and gaming second and there is no increasing your budget then you will have to deal with the low end graphics
If your needs are mostly gaming then you need to find a way to increase your budget because you cant just upgrade a CPU or GPU in a laptop.

PES 16 will run on just about any modern laptop, for your budget you should be able to find a system with an AMD A12 CPU, or if used, something with an nVidia 960m video card.

Good enough for PES 16, and some newer games at low settings.

You are better off just spending a little over your budget so that at least you can buy a laptop with a mainstream dedicated GPU that is a lot more powerful than integrated GPU. The following i an Acer laptop for $520 with a nVidia 940mx for $520.
