Laptop under performs after 2 mins into the game

When i play csgo i get around 100 fps but after 2 mins it drops down to 30

i have a lenovo ip320 with nvidia 940mx , 8 gb ram and i5 7th generation

suggest any fixes please

It is likely that the CPU is overheating ... download a temperature monitoring utility and run it in the background while gaming ... so how hot it gets.

If the CPU is overheating it will thermally throttle down to stop it being damaged.

Use MSI afterburner with OSD. That way you can monitor temps, clock rate and usage while gaming.
