Laptop up dated to windows 10 and now battery drains to 0%

I have a Toshiba Satellite that is 3 years old. When I still had Windows 8.1 and would go to the start menu and select shut down then charge my laptop there would be full battery when I'd turn it on later the next day, where as after updating to windows 10 in the same situation above my battery level will drop and if left for a bit will completely drain. Does this mean my battery need replacing or is there other problems it could be?

if no problem with win 8.1 then it is a win 10 driver issue. have you checked the Toshiba site for win 10 drivers for your laptop?

What are drivers? Also no I haven't done that yet
