Laptop vram problem

In trying to install a game my vram option was 0MB and shared was 3.0GB please what is the meaning?

Exactly which laptop do you have?

It basically sounds like you only have integrated graphics. That means the integrated graphics core is using your some of the laptop's system RAM.
