Laptop want comeup

I have a Acer Aspire and when i closed it ,it said that there was some update and it would close on it,s on , when it was updated it did not close down and i could not close it so i froced it to close.now it come on but it want load up. dose anyone have any help.

You didn't say it was blank....

Start machine...press F8 continuously then choose SAFE MODE

Iam sorry if i miss lead you. i try pressing the f8 ,it did not help but thank you

Try holding F8 instead of tapping it, and if that instead works, then select Safe Mode with Networking. Is your system locking at Windows start? Or before?
