Laptop white screen startup

My laptop just gave up on me. It was performing exceptionally until it restarted for updates. Now whenever i turn it on, there is just a white screen with vertical colored.lines going down it. I can't access anything. What do I do?

What version of windows is it running?Try to boot into BIOS and use the system recovery disc provided with your Laptop

I had the same problem which I fixed easily. Just google alwaysafix
