We own 3 Asus laptops. Within 2 years, the Wi-Fi stopped working on them. On one, ,we bought a plug-in part that connects to WiFi, but it won't work on the other 2. A repair shop says it is probably a problem on the motherboard and would be very expensive to fix. So frustrating. Has anyone had success with the ASUS company fixing this on a 2 year old laptop?

Are all of your WiFi drivers up to date? You can check if they are on a device that has working WiFi (or connect the laptop to your router via Ethernet cable.)

Also, you should try to "troubleshoot problems" on your OS to see if Windows can fix itself.

The Wi-Fi stopped working on all three of them? I'm very suspicious that this is any kind of hardware failure. There must be some kind of common denominator here.

Have you made certain it doesn't have anything to do with your router/network? Can you connect to other networks with these laptops (such as a library, diner, or a coffee house network)?
