Laptop will boot into windows, but refuses to boot into the bios

I'm at wits end with my Sony viao laptop. The laptop boots just fine into windows but refuses to boot into the bios. Does someone know what causes this issue. The laptop also doesn't show the vaio logo at boot anymore, just a slowly flickering black screen.

Fastboot can do this. Hold down the shift key next time you click on Shutdown and you should get a full shutdown instead of the hybrid one.

Don't think it's a fast boot issue. The laptop still has the same issues after shutting the PC down completely.

If you did the shift-shutdown they sadly you are right, its not a fastboot issue unfortunately. 🙁
