Solved! Laptop will not boot up :(

hello i got a Gateway Laptop and when i turn it on it will load up untill the point its suspost to load Windows and the screen just stays Black ( does the same thing when i try to boot cd to reinstall windows will not Boot up ) but i can enter Bios its not making no since to me

I was wondering if anyone knew what was going on if my laptop is Trash or if its Fixable

also id like to add i thought it might could be the Hdd but it acts the same way when i take the Hdd completely out =/

so im guessing its not even making it that far in the bootup


Any Advice or help ?

yeah its a graphic issue, restore the bios to defaults and try again..try a new hard drive aswell.

yeah ill try it i tried using one of my Flash Drives to see if i could install windows on it but will not Boot any Disc

i did not want to Buy a Harddrive and it not be the problem and have a Laptop Hdd sitting there useless lol

i think i might have already Tried the Bios reboot im not sure ill try it again tho thx for tha help

I vote hard disk. Try and reinstall. If it fails, try and repair with UBCD. If that fails, new HDD.
