Solved! Laptop with Dobly Atmos. What speaker/soundbar to buy? Creative Labs Katana?

Hi, I have a Thinkpad X1E with Dobly Atmos built-in. I connect it to a Sony XBR49X900E 49-in. 4K HDR UHD TV.

If I want to enjoy Dobly Atmos (i.e. hearing things moving around across my small beadroom) without spending over $800, what suggestions do you have?

Is this product good enough? It does not say it is Dobly Atmos speakers.

The description of that laptop mentions the built in speakers as supporting Dolby Atmos. It isn't any different than other laptops in that when playing Atmos content it will pass it through the HDMI output.
You will need a 5.1.2 Atmos HTS system or a Atmos soundbar with upward firing speakers plus rear speakers and sub The speaker you link to won't give you surround sound or Atmos. Something like these

TVs won't pass Dolby TrueHD or Atmos so you will have to connect the laptop directly to an Atmos HTS or soundbar.
The HTS will be more flexible than the soundbar and more easily upgraded in the future.

HTS is home theater system. That means an AV receiver with separate speakers.
The two soundbars you link to can't do surround sound (no rear speakers) so doing Atmos is kinda of stupid. Just adding upward firing speakers is wasted without having surround speakers first. In fact to do Atmos correctly you should have ceiling mounted speakers. Using upward firing speakers doesn't do the same thing at all. It's marketing more than anything and doesn't mean that it sounds good.
