Question Laptop with long battery life

Hi all. I'm looking for a laptop to carry around. My current one is fantastic but his battery life is getting bad. So it will still be my "main laptop" but I need something to move around when needed. So my main requirements are:

• Long battery life
• Light
• Not too expensive as "backup laptop". 1K USD ideal. 1.5K the very maximum.

I have been thinking about Asus Zenbook 14, Samsung Notebook 9, and related stuff. Thanks!

Why not simply get a new battery for your laptop if you have no issues with it aside from battery life?
