Dear all, I m planning to buy a gaming laptop which is Asus X551jk http://
The problem here is it just has only one USB port which is also USB 2.0 and the question I have is whether I will be able to use the following - mouse, USB dongle, any of the gaming controller , all this at same time with the help of a USB splitter. I really love the spec of this laptop and dying to buy it but this USB 2.0 is what I m worried, let me know guys.

Solution
A single USB controller can theoretically handle 127 USB devices. I suggest getting an externally powered USB hub to avoid extra stress on the circuity in your laptop.

Oh, and those USB 3.0 ports on there support the majority of USB 2.0 devices. If you know you have devices that don't work in USB 3.0 ports, you should probably invest in a USB 2.0 hub instead. Same principles apply.
