Hello, i have the following issue, my laptop turns on does everything normally until bios logo or computer brand logo (as it appears acer) and showing the key to enter bios etc, the problem is, after that it just stays with a black screen if booting from hdd, if booting from usb it just reboots after a time loading the usb, same for dvd.
I don't really have any idea what it could be i've testes CMOS clearing, RAM placement, RAM replacement with other ones, and nothing had worked.
If someone has any idea what the problem could be besides the ones i've already tested, please share im stuck here.

Solution
I just ran into the same problem and found a solution.
Go into the BIOS and look for UEFI/Legacy Boot (or something to that effect) and make sure it's set to Both.

Mine was set to UEFI Only and wouldn't boot my Windows 7 install disc or Hiren's Boot CD.
is the bios seeing the hard drive & if so then windows might be corrupted via software or hardware as in bad sectors in the hard drive?

Yes the hdd is recognized in the bios, in fact everything is getting recognized.
As for bad sectors or windows corruptions i do not think it may be the problem because i have also replaced the hdd (forgot to mension it..) before with another one that worked perfectly on it's laptop so..

try this. remove main battery, disconnect power adapter from laptop, hold down the power button for 20 count, re-install main battery, reconnect power adapter & turn on the laptop.

Done it, still nothing, not booting hdd, not even booting any kind of recovering media, either usb or dvd, it gets stuck on windows logo and reboots.

you tried good ram off another laptop with still same problem, correct? have you tried setting the bios settings to default?

how good is your battery charge as try booting without the power adapter & try with main battery removed but power adapter connected to laptop?

right now I'm leaning towards the cpu as the problem as you tried different ram, different hard drive, tried to boot from windows disk, defaulted the bios & hard reset it too with same results.

Right now, i'm not getting the black screen at hdd boot anymore, instead appears a message from boot manager saying that the boot configuration data for your pc is missing or contains errors and keeps rebooting. Also i have tried the Hiren's Boot CD and it boots, anything to do with it?
