Laptop won't boot - no lights no sounds - battery can't be removed

Lenovo Edge 15 - this is my 2nd one, and I got this as a replacement for the 1st one that had the same problem (last week). This one is a floor model, but what can I be doing to make this happen? Different charger and different computer, but same model. Each time this happens I lose time on a critical project replacing all my software and settings.
Plus now I'm again without a computer. I can't remove the battery. Last time it stayed broken for 24 hours before I took it back, so waiting doesn't seem to help.

If it does not turn on at all and you tried a known working charger, return it.
