Hi, I have a msi laptop who now wont start I just get "checking media present, no media present" And I have a few times dropped the pc on the floor, it is some time since I did that now though. But still I wonder if the SSD might have gotten broken then and I have to replace it? Or do anyone else here have any experiance or knowledge about this?

And in the bios boot priority list there is dvd, hard disk etc but no ssd options

Solution
Well, since you say it has been dropped, I would not be surprised if the hard drive is either loose (connection loose) or damaged.

To see you would need to...

1. Look and see if it is loose or disconnected.

2. Pull the drive and hook it up (externally with an adapter) to another computer and see if you can access the data.

3. Replace the drive, if option 1 didn't fix it.
