laptop wont stay on

my comptuer starts and runs just fine in safe mode but if i turn it on regular. itll stay on for just a bit then shut off. not blue screen but shut off totally. im computer illiterate, halp?

Hi Jacob. What model of computer do you have? How long have you had it? Will it stay on forever in safe mode? Have you tried to do anything to repair the issue so far? Can you access safemode with networking and the internet? What are you running for virus protection?

I know this is a lot of questions about your computer, but I really need the extra information to help diagnose whats going on and point you in the right direction.
