Question Laptop won't switch on Lenovo g400

I just got in my room I opened the screen to complete the project I was working on,and everything was fine I unlocked is and as I was trying to connect the aux cord it went off I'm so stressed out my mind right now I don't know what to do
Help!...

by aux cord you mean the charger for this laptop?
