Laptop won't type

I have a hp laptop and an external keyboard recently my keypad refused to type anything...then if I restarted my PC it will work if I left it for a while I won't be able to type again...I cannot type on Google either and my school work keeps being deleted

Have you tried resetting the PC? If that doesn’t work I would do a full clean install of windows and if that doesn’t work you have hardware issues

i suggest a clean install of windows 10. if that doesn't solve it, you need to have your laptop repaired or get a new one. follow this guide. before you start, back up all your documents, pictures and videos, anything you care about.
