I'm in the market for a laptop, one that will play Elder Scrolls Online on maximum settings.

Normally I wouldn't ask such a question because the answer would hover around either (a) no or (b) yes but it will cost you an arm and a leg to buy

However, I've been out of the pc/laptop/games scene for a good few years now, and tech. has passed my by. Also, the laptop I have in mind (see link below) does seem to have some very good specs. Thus I have to ask more knowledgeable persons than myself. So with that in mind, would this laptop:

Run Elder Scrolls Online at maximum setting?

Thanks all, any input is appreciated.

no it would barely handle minimum at 1080p, which that laptop doesn't even do.
You want a laptop that can run ESO at max at 1080 for a budget of £900?
15.6": http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/vortexIV-LE/
17.3": http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/optimusV-17/
they run the gtx 860M which is basically the equivalent of a gtx 750 Ti in specs, the 750 Ti benchmarks can be found here for ESO:http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/the-elder-scrolls-online-performance,review-32922-6.html

reply to this topic again if you need help with picking the right options for the laptop, there's a fair bit you'll want to change around.

Pheww, I wouldn't know where to start. I'm amazed that I can spend about £200 less (or so it seems) and it would then run ESO.

If I was building a pc, I'd probably cope because I'm more familiar with components, but not with laptops.

same sort of thing as PC really. The specs you can click are the ones that are compatible. The options you want to choose are:
I7-4710HQ CPU
8GB RAM
gtx 860M
a 7200 RPM HDD
Upgrade the thermal paste
Wireless: If you live on your own, then get the Intel ultimate N6300 chip, If you live at Uni etc. then the intel AC-7260.
silver warranty.
