Laptops dell Charger

Last night my laptop charger were working fine until just morning it wouldn't charge and I would hit the ac adapter the light will come on but then it will dim and it will come off , I don't know how to fix it and I got it off Amazon

It's a dell windows 8

That is not the model, you will find the model number on the bottom of the laptop, example : Inspiron xxx or Latitude xxx or something else.

The LED on the adapter going on and off is usually a sign of a faulty adapter. You said you got the adapter off of Amazon; is it a third party adapter? Or the original Dell adapter?
