Laptops HDMI problem

Everything was fine until one morning my TV stopped recognizing HDMI from my laptop. I belive the HDMI port in laptop is ok because you when i put cabel in there is windows sound just like when you eject usb. Is it possible that some driver is somehow deleted or what?

Sounds like you may have had a Windows update which may have updated drivers. That can cause this. Try restoring back to the prior drivers.

How can I do that?

You can try going through either a restore point in "System Restore", or go through the "Device Manager", locate the driver you wish to restore, and choose the option to do so. If neither of these work, you can try downloading the prior driver version from the manufacturer's website.
