I just got an HP zv5000 last night and so far I like it a lot. The
only thing is the screen is made of a reflective surface and the glare
is *bad*. So bad I am thinking about returning this machine and
looking for one without such a reflective screen.

Unless someone knows of anything anti-glare steps I could take.

Taking two more Tylenol. :)

Yeah, I think you should be looking at a battery operated computer with an
integral folding lcd display device.

Beyond that, you'd have to come up with a lot more personal info in order to
get any sort of pertinent, intelligent answer.

get the ZV5000Z from HP. the best price/performance deal out there. has the
Athlon64 processor(64 bit processor)

if you want less glare on the screen, get the screen without "brightview".
brightview can increase glare in outside environments. for inside, its
fine.
