Abuse of power and abuse of law are common place in the Banana Republic of the Philippines.

My car was not equipped with a safety mechanism to tell me I was speeding/driving too fast for conditions/recklessly.

My Knife was not equipped with a safety mechanism that would warn me that if I used it as a weapon to steal money from someone, that it was illegal.

My crowbar was not equipped with a safety mechanism that would warn me that breaking into someone's house is illegal on multiple accounts.

My hammer was not equipped with a safety mechanism that would warn me that bludgeoning someone to death is a crime.

Clearly, your brain was not equipped with intellect, nor is your government equipped with competence.

This is pathetic! The Supreme Court justices who concurred with the majority decision should all resign.

What will stop students from plagiarising, given the ease with which text can be downloaded from the Internet, when the Supreme Court has done exactly the same thing?

New for Office 2012, every word you type will be compared then added to the Library of Congress to prevent any plagiarism from ever occurring again.

I'm waiting for someone to get rich by suing people.
McDonalds lost the case saying coffee needed a warning saying its not hot.

Where are the extremists saying that the pizza isn't hot.

So I can shoot a guy in the face repeatedly, and it's completely okay, because there wasn't a police officer there to tell me I was committing murder.

Ah tech forums. In the end, we're all just closet homicidal maniacs, itching to kill every living creature with an ever expanding array of methods and plans.

On topic, I think this really is bunk, but I don't know enough about the Philippines political and judicial systems to make an actual comment.

So I'll just join the party:

It's ok to use a plasma torch to burn someone's arms and legs off becuase the plasma torch doesn't come with organic-material detection systems.

I think I will release a few songs over in the Philippines, wont be my fault they are cover versions, and i wont ever have to pay royalties because my keyboard didn't tell me the songs had been released before :)
