Left my laptop logged in at My house and my roommate had some sketchy people over and they changed my password on my alienware

So my roommate brought some sketchy ass people over to our house the other night and one of them went into my alienware laptop ( Because my dumb ass left it logged in and open.) and they changed my login info and password... now I'm f****ng locked out of my own laptop and neither of us knows who did this... Is there any possible way to get passed the power on login password info to return my laptop back to my login info? Or am I screwed? Please keep in mind I'm not tech savvy at all and this is the only computer in the house. Any help would be extremely appreciated!!
