Lenovo t440p very dim windows start up, wont boot into windows. Was next to slightly damp towel for 12+ hours

Need full details about what is happening, what is a "dim windows start up"? The screen is dim? Did you check it plugged in and check the brightness hotkey option to make sure it's not down low?
