lenovo G500 LCD blank

Internal display of my lenovo g500 is not working. When i connect to external display it is working.
The screen is off from the starting (no boot screen also). I tried switching on with only ac adaptor and also tried removing RAM but with no results. Someone please help

Sounds like the screen or inverter has failed, any warranty left with Lenovo, even after standard 1 year, you still have UK/EU regulations in getting a repair/replacement.
