I have a lenovo ideapad p500 that just won't turn on anymore. I would press the power button and the fan starts and CPU and everything starts then then it just shuts off. No error just a little beep and it just goes.
Now I have to say it was working perfectly prior to me adjusting some bios settings for the integrated graphics (Intel HD 4000). So most likely thats the issue. So I decided I'd take apart my laptop and simply pull the CMOS battery to reset the bios settings but it seems this laptop's cmos is soldered on to the motherboard from what I can tell.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to fix this problem, i.e. reset the bios without removing the CMOS.
Any help would be most appreciated
