Lenovo laptop will not move past Lenovo screen

Our 2 year old laptop was working perfectly but on turning it on this evening all we get is the Lenovo screen. It will not boot up (Windows 10). I have tried removing batteries, pressing the F12 or F8 buttons as on previous threads but am getting nowhere. Any ideas please? It had to have a new power socket about a month ago as the hinge had cracked and the power socket had come apart. I can see it having to go back to the computer repair shop.....

you will need the windows installer to be able to attempt repairs on your OS. prepare USB drive (8Gb at least) from the tool below.
