Lenovo Laptop won't turn on

Lenovo Ideapad 100-15IBD won't turn on. The LED power lights flash once but laptop won't come on. Tried unplugging battery and pressing the power button for 30 sec to reset it but it didn't make a difference. How can I fix this? It was working perfect the other day. It's no longer covered on warrenty either.

I have the same problem with my Lenovo Y50-70 Touch - battery is fused so can't pop it out. Opened up the case to attempt to pull the battery out to try the pull out batter solution, which works great on other laptops, but not an option. The Battery charging light indicator lights up when cord is plugged in. Uses a completely different power cord than anything else. I've tried holding the power button down both plugged in and not plugged in to no avail. Warranty is long expired. So I also am very interested in any other solutions out there.
