lenovo laptop won't turn on

my Lenovo won't turn on. Only light beside power outlet is on. I have tried everything suggested and nothing works. It's just "dead"
I have removed battery, held the button, tried other monitors
A couple of days before, when I would click shut down, it would start and then back to home screen. I don't know if that is connected to the problem or not

If nothing worked, you need to start with replacing parts, most likely the motherboard.
