Lenovo Legion Y530 i7-8750H or i5 8300H

Hi,
Ihave to buy a new laptop and I'm choosing from these laptops:

1. Lenovo Legion Y530 (81FV00SLBM) 15.6" FHD IPS, i7-8750H, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, GTX 1050Ti- $988
2. Lenovo Legion Y530 (81FV007NBM) 15.6" FHD IPS, i5-8300H, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, GTX 1050 4 GB- $837
3. Lenovo Legion Y530 (81FV0074BM) 15.6" FHD IPS, i5-8300H, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, GTX 1050 2 GB- $796.
I will add after the buying a Samsung 250GB 970 EVO NVMe M.2 Internal SSD.
The laptop will be used for trading online stocks. I think that all the 3 models will do the task.
I want the display to not have a PWM.
Do you know also the graphic card Nvidia GTX 1050 ti, GTX 1050 4 GB and GTX 1050 2 GB how many external monitors will support? I'm not going to use external monitor the recent few months, but after a 2, 3 years I may use 1 or 2 external monitors.
Wich one from the i7 8750H or i5 8300'H will heat less?

Wich one from the 3 laptops are you going to recommend me?

Depending on the external connectors, the minimum you can have is one external monitor. The maximum might be 2, provided you have more than one HDMI port. If you have a thunderbolt port, you could connect 2 monitors in daisy chain. If it's for stock trading, I'd ask you to go for a desktop that has 3 display output ports and monitors that correspond to those ports.

It'd be very insightful if we had links to all three of those laptops. To add, you might want to invest in a laptop that has an SSD in it out of the box and you didn't state the memory on the GTX1050Ti.

If you're investing in a laptop and then some more on monitors, I'm sure you can spend 500USD on a desktop alone and then add the monitors onto it. If you need mobility though, laptops are the route.

1 and 2 both have mini Dispaly port + HDMI port.
I need a laptop, because every evening after 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. I'm trading stocks from my bed with the laptop.

I would avoid buying a laptop with a 6 core i7-8750H because it can produce a lot of heat and if the CPU starts throttling down due to excessive heat it will definitely perform worse than the quad core i5-8300H.

If bed is the location then go with the i5-8300H.

The Y530 should support 2 external monitors based on Lenovo's specs. It has one HDMI 2.0 port and one mini displayport. It also has a USB 3.1 C port, so you might be able to tack on a third. In addition to the laptop screen.

All will probably run warm especially the more displays you run. However the i7 is a higher watt processor than the i5.

There are dual fans for cooling it appears regardless of CPU. So it is built to handle heat better than some "gaming" laptops I have seen. You certainly do not want to obstruct your fans.

It appears all are solid choices so it comes down to your budget. I always try to buy the best I can afford.

As noted by others, a desktop is certainly built to handle more connections and could accommodate additional GPUs should the need arise, where as the laptop would be limited to your built in connectors.

I'm also looking at Y530 for casual gaming. i5 seems like a solid choice from responses, as I don't want to produce too much heat or anything.

I also would like the gaming laptop to last and be durable, will Y530 be sufficient? Any takers?
