Recently I have been finding that the Lenovo.Modern.ImController.PluginHost process runs a lot and uses a lot of CPU on my Lenovo Yoga 710. It doesn't run all the time, but it does run for long periods. Its CPU usage is usually around 25%, but the total CPU usage when it is running is usually around 80%, suggesting that it invokes a number of other processes.
Although I am not sure of the absolutely precise timing of this problem, it seems to have started some time around the time I enabled some LenovoVantage features, such as the toolbar and the facility that allows you to stop the battery getting fully charged. Is there a way I can tame this hungry process? Ideally I would like to continue to use the option to not fully charge the battery, rather than getting rid of LenovoVantage altogether.
