Question Lenovo S145 keeps restarting every 10 seconds without showing any screen

Backstory:

I was reinstalling UBUNTU on the laptop and the installation froze and I didn't know what to do besides hold down the start button to restart thinking I could just restart the process to boot from the USB installation drive.

After this the laptop will turn on with a blackish screen and no lenovo logo and will restart and repeat the process continually. I have manually reset the motherboard both with a pin and by disconnecting the cmos battery.

I'm guessing this is a hard drive issue.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi Ben,
did you try to reset BIOS according to motherboard manual ?
