Does anyone know how to migrate OS from HDD to SSD without a CD?

The hard drive itself determines what data is stored or cached to the SSD portion of a Hybrid HDD.

That is true if your OS recognizes it as one drive. If the OS itself see 2 different drives (1 HDD + 1 SSD) then their is no optimization at drive level.
