Lenovo Y50 after replacing display screen went blank

I have dropped 1 time and the edge of the top left has been bent and little crack but no signs of hard drive failure or broken screen. After replacing with the LG IPS panel screen totally went blank. I tried taking out battery method, ram reinserting, connecting to TV but no signs of a blink. Before replacing, I "confirmly" shut down the laptop. It's been days now and I really need help cuz I've seen review on my nearest computer shop wasn't given a good rating.

My possible answer would be wrong output of monitor or display connector is broke 🙁

Hi,

Please do try opening the laptop again and retrace all the steps you did when you opened it up. Make sure that all the cables are connected properly into each port.

I did the assembling before posting this thread. No signs 🙁

Apparently the 4k model of the Lenovo y50 uses a special screen and so u will have to get the exact replacement 4k screen model, I have tried almost 15 replacement screens but they all display nothing when I power on the system, but when I return the damaged screen it works.. Weird right? Same issue might apply to other models of the y50
