Lenovo y50 alternatives

I want to find an alternative to the lenovo y50 with better battery life. Need to be using it for university lectures e.t.c. Graphics cards can be relatively similar. Any suggestions?

How much do you plan on spending on said laptop? If you don't want a Lenovo the MSI GS60 is an excellent alternative.
