Lenovo y700 laptop won't turn on please help

Hi everyone I bought a brand new Lenovo y700 6 months ago and it was perfectly fine and then after 5 days i turned it on it won't start... I took it to the service center they told me i need a motherboard what should I do? its still new and I the motherboard is so expensive... And I take a good care of my laptop. does anyone had the same problem? thank you

6 months, that should be still under warranty.

Did you fix it? My daughter's y700 just did the same thing. One day before she left for first year engineering! Did you have to send it in?
