Lenovo Y700 wifi driver

I recently bought a Lenovo Y700 15" laptop.
Initial testing with windows 10 64 bit showed the wifi function operating well.
I needed to convert to a 32 bit os and replaced the hard drive with a ssd and installed windows 10 32 bit on it. Most things worked well.
One exception was the wifi capability.
In the device manager, the network controller and the yellow ! indicator.
The properties message said code 28, no driver for this device.
The name of the device is not indicated so I do not know where to look.
Lenovo download support has no drivers for wifi devices and.

I doubt that the hardware is defective.

Any help/insight?

This laptop is made for 64bit, meaning there is a great chance that there are no 32bit drivers. Just switch to 64bit, why would you be going for 32bit on laptop which at worst has 8gb ram. With 32bit you are running on 4gb max, no idea why you've made this decision, but it's a bad one.

This laptop will be primarily used to run civilization 2.42, my favorite game when travelling. It is a 16 bit app that will not run on a 64 bit os.
I tried virtualbox, and it did run, but not very well.
And, yes, using only 4gb on a 16gb machine seems like a sin.
It is a tradeoff that I chose to make.

If push comes to shove, I will buy a usb wifi dongle.
