Question Lenovo Yoga 2 Motherboard issue

I have got hold of a semi-working Lenovo yoga 2 13". After booting the laptop it runs fine for a couple of minutes before the screen turns green, flickers and dies together with the rest of the laptop. It reboots and does the same thing again.

After inspecting the motherboard I've found a burnt capacitor(?) around the area of the lcd-connector. See yellow arrow and circle in the pictures.

The component labeled u46 (see blue circle) on the motherboard right next to the burnt capacitor gets extremely hot directly after booting but it displays the correct voltages after checking with a voltmeter and comparing to schematics.

So do you think there is anything I can do about this or is the motherboard beyond rescue.
