Greetings Team,
Looking to buy Lenovo z50-70 436412 with the following config for high end applications and medium end games (not video editing)

Chipset QM87
Cache 3 MB
Variant 4210U
Clock Speed 1.7 GHz with Turbo Boost Upto 2.7 GHz
Processor Intel Core i5 (4th Gen)
Expandable Memory Upto 16 GB
RAM Frequency 1600 MHz
System Memory 4 GB DDR3
Screen Type Full HD TN GL Slim Display
Wireless LAN Non-Intel 1x1 BGN
Dedicated graphics 2GB N15V-GM DDR3
Operating System Windows 8.1
System Architecture 64 bit

Please suggest your opinions on this. I am not a techie and not sure of wireless lan Non-Intel 1x1 BGN provided here instead of IEEE 802.11b/g/n .... Is non-intel superior to 802.11? Can I opt for this? do I foresee any issues? How good is the N15V-GM graphic card and Full HD screen. Thank you for your time on this. Need a clear screen to watch movies of great quality. Please suggest if you deem any other product.

Also, if needed will go for 59-420313 or 59-429623 where either of them comes with DOS
with below different attributes.

Factor 59-429623 59-420313
Wireless LAN Non-Intel 1×1 BGN IEEE 802.11b/g/n
Graphic Processor N15V - GM N15S-GT
Screen Type Full HD TN GL HD TN GL Flat

Also, can i play assassins creed, crysis, COD (not the latest edition) etc on this lap.

Thanks,
Cheeli.

Your graphics card is poor at performing the latest titles since it is a Geforce 820m(Code name N15v-GM). A list of fps and performances of your graphics card can be found is in this page. Scroll down to the middle/bottom of it to see a FPS vs quality chart vs a list of games.

the Wireless LAN Non-Intel 1x1 BGN is written in a foolish format so let me explain this for you:

1x1 means 1 sending antenna and 1 receiving antenna. This is common and really doesn't matter.

BGN means 802.11b/g/n, it is a standard package and no need to sweat about it.

Non-Intel simply means Intel didn't make it.

The processor is absolutely fine with a passmark of 3,427. The clock rate is slow but it utilizes the 22nm Hasswell architecture to make up its performance by providing more cache and bus speed. A method to decrease heat signature while maintaining processing performance.

oh i barely looked just saw that low clock speed but yeah i guess the advance architecture makes up for it
